Ray Bollinger Takes the Checkers at Daugherty Speedway

BOSWELL, IN — June 18, 2017 — Ray Bollinger led all the way through the checkers at Daughtery Speedway for the fourth completed race of the DIRTcar Summit Racing Equipment Modified Nationals. Allen Weisser and Mike McKinney followed after an exciting battle behind the leader resulted in a spinout from Nick Hoffman that took him back along with Kenny Wallace and Nick Allen.

Nick Hoffman Scores Summit Modified Nationals Win at Sycamore

MAPLE PARK, IL — June 16, 2017 — DIRTcar Nationals Big Gator Champion Nick Hoffman of Mooresville, NC scored a Summit Modified Nationals win at Sycamore Speedway, beating Ray Bollinger and the previous night's winner Mike McKinney through the checkers.

Mike McKinney Battles Ken Schrader for Kankakee Win

 

KANKAKEE, IL — June 15, 2017 — Mike McKinney fought a tough battle with Ken Schrader at Kankakee County Speedway Thursday night for his first DIRTcar Summit Racing Equipment Modified Nationals win of the year. KcKinney and Schrader actually began their battle during Heat 1, with the same results: McKinney in first with Schrader behind him. Following Schrader through the checkers in the Feature were Tyler Nicely and Ray Bollinger.

Devin Gilpin Wins Summit Modified Nationals Opener at Brownstown

BROWNSTOWN, IL - June 14, 2017 - The DIRTcar Summit Racing Equipment Modified Nationals tour kicked off last Wednesday, June 14, at Brownstown Speedway with Devin Gilpin leading the charge to Victory Lane, where he has already been seven times this year. No stranger to the Summit Modified Nationals tour, Gilpin won three straight championships from 2012-2014. Gilpin, who also ran a dirt Late Model in the DIRTcar Summer Nationals the same night, earned the $1,000 Modified Nationals payday over Earl Plessinger, Tyler Nicely, Josh Harris, and Jeremy Owens.

Levi Kissinger Scores Birthday Win at Fairbury Prairie Dirt Classic

Nick Hoffman honored as Summit Racing Equipment Modified Nationals Champion

FAIRBURY, Ill. – July 31, 2016 – The 2016 DIRTcar Summit Racing Equipment Modified Nationals went out with a bang on Saturday night at Fairbury American Legion Speedway as Levi Kissinger scored a birthday win at the Prairie Dirt Classic and Nick Hoffman claimed the series championship, his first.

Kissinger, who started the night’s feature in third, hung tough throughout muchof the 40 laps, biding his time to take on Jeff Leka who led through much of the FALS feature. Through the closing laps, Kissinger took over the top spot and celebrated his 29th birthday with a $5,000 victory.
